🚀 LaunchPad #17: Something’s on the Horizon
New roles, new energy, and maybe… something new altogether.
It’s been a busy few weeks behind the scenes at LaunchPad; a lot of planning, tinkering, and sketching out what the next phase might look like. I won’t spill the details just yet, but something new is coming, and I’m excited for you to see it.
When I first started LaunchPad, the goal was simple: help people in tech operations find meaningful roles without endlessly scrolling job boards. We’re still early, still learning, and still refining what works, but each edition gets us closer to what LaunchPad can become.
I can’t say much more (for now), but if you’ve been following along, you’ll want to keep your eyes on the next few issues.
Welcome to Issue #17 of LaunchPad. Every Tuesday, I share a curated list of Toronto-based roles in Strategy, Ops, Growth, and more. Every Thursday, I drop a Spotlight deep dive on one standout company or role worth your attention. If you’re trying to break into tech or level up your career, you’re in the right place.

Thanks for reading this week’s edition of LaunchPad! The job market can feel like the wild west some days, but my goal is for this to be a place you can rely on for high-quality roles, useful context, and a bit more confidence in your next step.
If you see something you like, go for it. If you find this helpful, please share it with a friend who’s also looking to break into tech or level up their career. More good things will be landing in your inbox next week!

The Okta product marketing role is interesting timing considering thier recent market positioning challenges. Product marketing specialists typically signal a company trying to redefine value propositions when competitive pressure is mounting. If Okta is rebuilding its go to market narrative around differentiation versus integrated cloud providers, that could be a solid play for someone wanting to shape strategy during a pivotal moment.
